The Team Driving Breakthroughs from Setbacks

Frederick Naftolin MD, PhD, was for 25 years the Director of the Yale  Reproductive Biology Program, and for 20 years a Co-PI for the Yale  Department of Biology Training Program.  He was for 15 years a  co-principal investigator and Head of the Admissions Committee of the  NIH Reproductive Scientist Development Program.  He was President of the Society for Reproductive Investigation (SRI) and  of the North American Menopause Society and has received their highest  awards for research. He has been honored by the establishment of a named  award for mentorship, given annually by the SRI.

Takis, a mathematician has studied extensively at the University of Cambridge,  is also a skilled computer programmer, contributing to major open-source projects like X11, GCC, and Mozilla Firefox. In 2014, he co-founded Cambridge Quantum Computing (now Quantinuum), one of the world’s leading quantum software companies. Takis led the development of TKET, a cutting-edge quantum computing framework, and is now focused on quantum applications in finance, climate modeling, and biology. His team grew rapidly, securing $50M    in funding and advancing          quantum secure technologies.

Ahmed has a PhD in genetics and dual master’s degrees from NYU in clinical informatics. He has over     25 years of experience in bioinformatics, clinical informatics, and molecular biology. He has held academic positions at Yale, NYU, and Vanderbilt, and co-led numerous international research initiatives. He has had extensive success consulting in the commercial biotechnology sector. Dr. Fadiel has nearly 100 publications and has chaired workshops globally. He now co-directs the Computational Oncology Unit at the University of Chicago.
